Ask: What materials did you see?
Pupils answer: cotton buds, marbles, spoon & fork, tissue, towel, sponge, water
Teacher say: I will show you different pictures, and tell if it solid, liquid or gas?
Pupils answer: cotton buds, marbless, spoon & fork, tissue, towel, sponge, water
Pupils Answer: Solid materials are spoon and fork, marbles, tissue, towel, sponge, cooton buds.
Liquid materials are water and Gas materials is the ballon and inside the balloon is gas.
1.We grouped the materials according to their state :solid, liquid and gas.
2.The materials will float or it will sink.
1.Gather the materials needed for the activity.
2.Divide the materials equally to every group of pupils.

Ask:
1. How did you find the activity yesterday?
2.When you added water to the materials, what happened to the water?to the materials?
3.When you lifted the material and squezzed it, did water come out? Did the material get wet?
4.Is the material heavier when wet?
1.Paper bags easily get wet than plastic bag,a non porous material which does not allow water to pass through.
We need to use raincoats to prevent us from getting wet.Plastic raincoat does not absorb water.Plastic does not allow water to pass through.
