“We provide places and paths for children with serious
illnesses and life challenges to experience the joys of
childhood and grow in their confidence and capabilities.”2
Vision Statement:
“Camp Twin Lakes will be a vital statewide network of
closely aligned partners that are united in providing year-round
camping and other transformative experiences
that deeply impact our children and support their families
throughout childhood.”3

“Camp Twin Lakes is committed to expanding the scope
of programming available across Georgia for children
facing serious illnesses, disabilities and other life
challenges. Camp Twin Lakes provides year-round
overnight camp programming at state-of-the-art
medically-supportive campsites; day camps; and Camp-
To-Go day programs at children's hospitals across the
state. Camp Twin Lakes collaborates with more than 50
non-profit organizations in order to serve more than
8,500 campers each year. Camp Twin Lakes
proudly subsidizes 80% of the cost for every camper
served and leverages more than 2,500 volunteers on
an annual basis.”5

Young Atlanta Leadership League (Y’ALL)
Y’ALL “provides an opportunity for young professionals to network
with one another while supporting Camp Twin Lakes through many
different avenues including volunteering, committee engagement,
special events, happy hours and other social gatherings”9

support Camp Sunshine
Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, GA opened in 1993
