2. PRESENT SIMPLE
The simple present is a tense that mentions a regular, daily, or routine
action (work, she goes to school) as well as a general reality (the sun is
yellow, Venezuela is beautiful). There are two forms of the present
simple, one with the verb BE and another with DO and DOES
* We sow chili in Bona
(nosotros sembramos ají en el bona)
* They sow green onion in Pedraza
(Ellas siembran cebollín en Pedraza)
3. Present continuous
Present Continuous or Present Progressive tense is used to express
actions that happen at the same time you are talking
* He is studying the lesson.
(Él está estudiando la lección)
• She is buying a hat.
(Ella está comprando un sombrero).
4. Past Simple
Present Continuous or Present Progressive tense is used to express
actions that happen at the same time you are talkingThere are many ways
to talk about the past in English, but the simple past is the most common
form. The simple past tense in English is equivalent to the indefinite
imperfect and past tense of the Spanish past. We use the past simple to
complete actions in the past. The time period of these actions is not
important as in Spanish. In the past simple and there are regular verbs
irregular verbs
* She was a doctor.
(Era doctora.)
* The keys were in the drawer.
(Las llaves estaban en el cajón.)
5. Past Continuous

6. Future simple
The simple (Future Simple) English future forms with the structure:
+ Will / Shall + VERB
Note: The auxiliary Shall only used for the first person singular and plural. While the
assistant will be used in all cases.
I will [I’ll] call you tonight.
(Te llamaré esta noche.)
She will [She’ll] arrive late.
(Llegará tarde.)
7. Future continous
To form the continuous future "will be" or "be going to" is used
and the gerund (infinitive + "-ing") of the main verb
I will be talking. / I’m going to be talking.
(Estaré hablando.)
He will be eating. / He’s going to be
eating.
(Estará comiendo.)
