John Lenczowski

Founder and President

Public policy expert and educator John Lenczowski, Ph.D., launched The Institute of World Politics (IWP) in 1990 to offer graduate-level training and instruction on statecraft and national security matters. Today, John Lenczowski serves as president and instructor at IWP, which is the only academic institution solely dedicated to teaching all the arts of statecraft and related subjects, such as military strategy, diplomacy, and moral leadership. In his present role, Lenczowski draws on his extensive experience working for the U.S. Department of State and directing components of the executive branch’s National Security Council (NSC).
