I'm a Research Associate within the Digital Interaction group based in Culture Lab, with a background in interaction design, product design, philosophy of mind and cognitive science. My research these days tends to focus on designing digital technologies that reflect the lived experiences, values and desires of older people. I typically work in interdisciplinary teams and take participatory and collaborative approaches to design. The latter is reflected in my interest in the methods, techniques and resources used to undertake design activities with members of the public.
