Ausblick
IBM SocialStudent is a new solution which was launched earlier this year.
Due to it's uniqueness and overwhelming interest, SocialStudent is in a state continual
development and improvement.
From a roadmap perspective, the next big enhancement will be the integration with
Websphere portal providing personal dashboards and specific life-cycle management
experiences.
There are future plans of making it available through LotusLive Engage.
There are really 2 models we have for testing SocialStudent.
The 1st is for approved adhoc users to test and experience SocialStudent at no cost.
The 2nd is a formal customer PoC treated as a project with specific targets and goals,
mediated and controlled by us.
This includes registration, setup, management support, timelines and training. Generally
it is project based at $1,000p/month (max 50 users, no longer than 2 months)
If the customer then purchases SocialStudent (IBM Connections), the PoC fee is
deducted from their purchase.
