The Passion Week of Jesus refers to the last week of Jesus before His crucifixion. The week begins with the Triumphant Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and ends with Jesus’ death on the Cross and His burial in the Tomb of Joseph of Arimathea.

  7. 7. THE PASSION WEEK DAY FOUR:  HOLY WEDNESDAY  On This Day Judas agreed to betray Jesus. He consulted with the Jewish leaders on how He will sell Jesus to them for an amount of money.  Jesus was anointed in Simon the leper’s house by a woman who came with a very costly perfume in an alabaster box. She washed Jesus’ feet with her tears, wiped them with her hair and anointed His feet with the perfume. This Simon was probably the one who asked Jesus ‘‘if thou wilt thou canst make me clean?’’ The ointment could have cost N360k [A Year’s Wages @ 30K per Month] OCEAN OF GRACE INTERNATIONAL KINGDOM CENTER

THE PASSION WEEK DAY FIVE:  HOLY THURSDAY  On This Day Jesus Washed The Disciples Feet and He ate the Last Supper With His Disciples In The Upper Room.  Jesus sang Hymns with the Disciples  He led the Disciples into the Garden of Gethsemane where He prayed to His Father if they was another way to the Salvation of Humanity  Jesus is betrayed by Judah Iscariot who led a mob to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was  Jesus is arrested by the Jewish authorities and taken to Annas, Father-in-law of Caiaphas the High Priest, then to Caiaphas the High Priest, then to the Jewish Council, The Sanhedrin OCEAN OF GRACE INTERNATIONAL KINGDOM CENTER

THE PASSION WEEK DAY SIX:  GOOD FRIDAY  Also called CRUCIFIXION DAY  Jesus is handed over to Pilate [Roman Ruler of Judea], then to Herod [Ruler of Galilee, the Region where Jesus was from) and then back again to Pilate, Head of the Roman Government in Judea. Jesus is mocked and flogged 39 stripes. Jesus is made to carry the Cross up the Hill of Calvary  On This Day Jesus was crucified on the Hill of Calvary called Golgotha ‘The Place of Skull’. Here condemned criminals were executed by the Roman Crucifixion.  Jesus died on this Day  He was also buried in Joseph of Arimathea’s Tomb or Sepulchre after OCEAN OF GRACE INTERNATIONAL KINGDOM CENTER

THE PASSION WEEK DAY SEVEN:  HOLY SATURDAY  Also called Black Saturday  This was perhaps the most quiet day in all of Jerusalem’s History, the second day after Jesus was crucified and buried. Everyone taught that it was all over and so the Jewish festivities went on as usual and the talk on every bodies lips of was that The Jewish Carpenter claiming to be Messiah was gone never to return. Little did they know that Sunday morning was fast approaching! OCEAN OF GRACE INTERNATIONAL KINGDOM CENTER

THE PASSION WEEK DAY EIGHT/ DAY ONE OF WEEK 2  EASTER SUNDAY  Also Called RESURRECTION SUNDAY  This was perhaps the most turbulent day in all of Jerusalem’s History, the third day after Jesus was crucified and buried. Early Sunday morning, the Watch Guards that was placed at the request of the Jewish leaders saw the supernatural to their deathly shock. They fell as dead men. When they regained consciousness, they realised the Stone place at the mouth of the Sepulchre had been moved so they ran to tell the Jewish leaders what they had seen. Jesus had resurrected!
