- In all the years of being involved with adult education I have never been so excited about the pace of change. From every level of education is being transformed by technology. We are currently living through the dismantling the of the education system that has been prevalent during the last century.

- If you think that the transition from eLearning to mLearning is solely going from Flash to HTML5 – you are mistaken. It is important… and I’ll talk about this later on, but there are more factors involved.
- Your job is to transfer knowledge so that it is retained and applied in the workplace. First, what exactly is mLearning? What does it mean TO USE A MOBILE DEVICE? mLearning is not just taking your existing content and putting on a smaller device.

- When I was six years old we had only a uni-directional black and white TV with three maybe four stations if the antenna was in the correct position.
- The Challenge of the HR DepartmentThe fact that the younger generation is dictating what technology is going to be used at the corporate level. This is unprecedented! During the industrial revolution corporations who ran manufacturing and factories created joint vocational schools that instructed students on trade skills like welding and auto-mechanics. As we progressed through the 80’s and 90’s computers were introduced into schools, but the cost was great and the systems were to be shared.Now we have the ability to level the playing field in regard to the types of systems that are in the hands of C-level executives and my niece who is 6 years old. They are using the same system, very different needs, but still the same technology.The flattening of the technology playing field is going to form a tsunami of change in corporations.

- In Conclusion:I challenge you to push the norm. Use these devices to the fullest potential this of new ways that you have been teaching things. How can I do them differently? But never lose sight of the education constants that are required to for the foundation in any field. There are no shortcuts.This is your time to make a mark on education and to blaze new paths that for the sake of our children will give them the empowerment that they need to solve the issues of our times.
