2. Josh Wolcott of Denver graduated from
Pepperdine University with a degree in
economics and pursued his MBA at the
Monterey Institute of International Studies.
After several years in investment banking,
Joshua Neale Wolcott took the position of
director of operations and land for Denver-
based Cimmaron Resources, Inc., which
primarily manages oil and gas exploration
projects for client companies.
3. A diversified oil and gas company, Cimmaron
Resources historically focused on successfully
managing projects for client companies, and
it continues to offer its expertise to oil and
gas companies. In the past few years,
however, the company has begun developing
its own projects as well, specifically seeking
out projects where substantial short-term
and long-term cash flows can be generated
with minimal initial investment.
4. Cimmaron Resources has helped numerous
companies develop moribund operations into
dynamic going concerns. For instance, one client
company was leasing 1,110 acres on which it
operated only 10 producing oil and gas wells. After a
little more than a year, Cimmaron took that company
to a position of several thousand leased acres and
more than 50 producing wells. Cimmaron does not
limit its vision and services to just oil and gas. In one
instance, it worked on the planning and budget
creation process for a Colorado wind energy
company, additionally helping it identify industry
partners for the creation of a wind farm
encompassing 10,000 acres.
