3. Welcome to iCloud‟s Terms of Service
THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU & APPLE GOVERNING YOUR
iCLOUD USE
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ & UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS
BY CLICKING „AGREE‟, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS
4. Age Restrictions
You must be at least 13 years old to use iCloud
OR STOP
if you are under the age of majority in your country
of residence, you must view this agreement with an
adult (teenagers don't lie, Apple trusts you)
To use this service, you cannot be a person barred from
using this service
(all that is needed to create a new account is alternate email address but shhh)
5. iCloud enabled
By enabling iCloud:
Your content will be automatically sent to & stored by
Apple (Apple may then forward it to other countries!)
You may later access that content or have it
wirelessly pushed to your other iCloud enabled
devices (if Apple lets you)
6. Privacy
By using this service, you agree that Apple may collect and use
certain information about you and your use of this service
(you have no privacy)
You also agree that this information may be transferred to the United
States and/or other countries for storage, processing and use by
Apple, its affiliates and other service providers
7. Removal of Content
Apple reserves the right to determine whether your
content is appropriate
Apple may pre-screen, move, refuse, modify and
remove content at any time without prior notice at its
discretion
(Apple is free to decide the fate of your content)
8. Changes to your Content
“Apple may transmit your content across various public networks, in
various media, and modify or change your content to comply with
technical requirements of connecting networks or devices or
computers” (Apple Inc, 2012)
(Apple can basically do what they like with your content because you haven't even
bothered to read these Terms and Conditions)
9. Changes to Agreement
Apple reserves the right at any time to modify this
agreement (so don‟t try and remember any of it)
Apple may impose new or additional Terms & Conditions
on your use of this service (whenever they want to)
Your continued use of this service is deemed acceptance
of any modifications and or additional Terms & Conditions
10. Backup
This service provides you with a backup of your content
(for now)
HOWEVER
Apple does not guarantee that your content is safe or free
from loss
Apple says it is your responsibility to maintain an
appropriate alternate backup
11. Warning
“Apple does not represent or guarantee that the service will be
free from
loss, corruption, attack, viruses, interference, hacking, or
other security intrusion” (Apple Inc, 2012)
“Apple disclaims any liability relating thereto” (Apple, 2012)
(no responsibility taken whatsoever)
12. Apple‟s Rights
Apple reserves the right to limit the number of accounts you can create from
the one device
Apple also reserves the right to limit the number of devices you may have
for the one account
You agree to follow Apple’s rules
which will change from time to time
13. Will you Agree
These Terms & Conditions may come as shock to most of you
Apple takes NO responsibility for this shock & is NOT in any way liable
