• My high school students loved wearing the dry-erase
index card necklaces. Who knew? You can find
instructions on how to make them here.

• I play the music (from YouTube) while they are reading
the instructions.
• I draw popsicle sticks with M A T H O on them so it’s
random. In groups of 4, one kid takes two letters.
• I give 1 pt for a correct answer. 2 additional points for
a 2-pt shot, 3 points from the 3-point line.
3. Rules for Trashketball
1. Every person in your group needs a letter.
M-A-T-H-O. Write the letter on your nametag.
1. Each person will write down the problem and solve it on their paper.
USE YOUR NOTES! You may get help from other members in your
group.
1. Only the person whose letter I call will come up and show me their
paper.
1. You get one point for each correct answer.
1. If correct, you can shoot for bonus points!
2 from the 2-point line or 3 from the 3-point line.
