2. Torch Holder
I made a torch holder
The torch holder was the easiest project
The torch needed holes drilled in it.

3. Stool
This is the first project I made
Everyone made the stool as a guideline
There were certain length requirements used

4. Safety
We always have to were safety goggles in the
shop
No long clothing is allowed
Keep your fingers away from any moving
equipment

5. Hammers
Hammers are pretty easy to use
Hammer the nails straight down into wood

6. Bird House
My second project was a birdhouse
You have to sand it down so it is not all splintery
I drew a blueprint to build it

7. Sanding
Sanding makes the wood much smoother
Sanding also makes the wood look finished

8. Box
The third project was a challenge
It was hard to hammer nails in
I finished it slower than I thought

9. Wood Staining
When we finished the stool we stained it
Wood staining keeps the wood from rotting
It also made the stool look nicer

10. Ramp
The last project I made was a ramp
All it took was glue to keep it together
It only took me 2 days to put it together

11. Sander
The Sander is quick at sanding
Don’t get your fingers to close
It takes rough edges off your wood

12. Band Saw
The Band Saw cuts angles in wood
There’s a brake that stops the blade
We replace the blade when it brakes

13. Power Saw
The Power Saw cuts wood in half
We always line up with the angle
We have it on the right line to cut

14. Bench Saw
The Bench Saw cuts pieces of wood
We adjust the back to the right size
The blade can be angled to cut wood

15. Plainer
The Plainer cuts layers off wood
2 people need to work the Plainer
The Plainer makes your wood less thick

16. Drill Press
The Drill Press drills holes into wood
It can cut holes for a bird house

17. Jigsaw
Makes cleaner cuts than the Band Saw
Harder to use than the Band Saw
The blade is weaker than the Band Saw

18. Nails and Screws
You need the right size to use
Nails are used for smaller projects
Screws are used for more big sized projects

19. Dust System
The Dust System sucks up sawdust
We sweep dust into the Dust System
We push a button to turn it on
