Welcome Back! We are looking forward today to sharing a fun leadership exercise with you. For those of you who have been through Define U, this is a favorite activity and always good to see if you have changed from the previous year.
It was great to hear from you last week about your memories and your “U Rock Lists! “ Open a white board and grant writing privileges. Here is a quick white board again…for 30 seconds feel free to type as quickly as any of your U Rock skills.
Today you are going to have a chance to take the Life Color Quiz. Again this is an Agora student favorite! This fun exercise will provide greater insight to you as a person! Let’s take a look at a sample question so we understand how to answer them. Review sample question. Remind the students that within each question, a number must be placed next to each possible answer. Each question must have responses with a 1, 2, 3 and 4. Remind students to not go ahead. They are in essence ranking the letter responses to each question.
After students are done answering the seven quiz questions walk them through how to score the quiz. Have them transpose their answers into the scoring chart. Provide the students about 3 - 5 minutes to read through their colors and what it means. Discussion Points: 1. What do you find interesting about this leadership color quiz? 2. Did you learn anything about yourself that you found surprising? 3. Why would it be important to do an exercise like this as a leader?
Ask participants to record their primary colors as assigned in the screen and use the “polling” feature in blackboard to see the results. Do this again for the secondary colorMrs Whitmoyer- Primary- Gold, Secondary- Orange

Now that we know more about ourselves and certain styles, does anyone have an opinion if they think a certain style would be better suited for one of these roles? Host a Conversation/Discussion on what types of leadership roles would be good for certain color styles
You may need to application share the course to show students where to submit the worksheets.
