The document proposes building The Pentagon Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas to honor members of the modern military. The pavilion would include five granite walls, one for each military branch, engraved with the names of fallen heroes. A central courtyard and grand pavilion would provide space for families to gather and learn about each branch's history. Estimated costs are $200,000 and funding would come from various veterans organizations and businesses. The design aims to be inclusive according to urban planning principles of accommodating all users. The conclusion states the pavilion is needed for families and citizens to honor the fallen in a way that inspires and teaches the community.

a hallmark of good urban design” (PPUS p166)
Criteria as establishes in Public Places Urban Spaces for inclusive design “place
people at the heart of the design process, acknowledge diversity and difference,
offer choice where a single design solution cannot accommodate all users, provide
for flexibility in use, and create environments that are enjoyable to use for
everyone” (PPUS p166)
