The Powerful Panthers wrote recipes for healthy snacks made from fruits and vegetables bought at the market. They gave the recipes to their teacher Mr. Gillespie so he could make the snacks at home. They then reflected on how to improve the recipes by adding pictures, making the text bigger and numbering the steps. They discussed using a computer to make editing and printing the recipes easier. Finally, they decided to compile the recipes into a cookbook to give to Mr. Gillespie and let others taste their healthy cooking.
2. When we got back from Market Marketwe realised that we should write recipes so that we would know what to do to with the fruit and vegtables to make the healthy snacks. We also decided that we should give the recipes to Mr Gillespie so that he could try making the food at home.
8. What can do to make our recipes easier to understand? We can add pictures to help Mr. Gillespie understand the recipe. You can make the letters bigger so that he can read the steps better. We can put numbers to each step so that you know what to do. You can write an introduction to tell the person what the name of the recipe is. Try to write in your best way.
9. Should we use the computer to improve the recipes? Yes because the computer makes it faster and easier to understand the recipe. It is easier to write and you can print many copies. You just need on backspace and that’s more easier than to erase. There’s not much words to write if you type. When we use the computer, we can always print it out. That way we will never forget it.
10. What should we do with all the recipes? You can make a cookbook for Mr. Gillespie with all the healthy food that we made form the market. We should let people taste our cooking. Print the recipes out and then make a book. We should make the recipes better and maybe add our own recipes to the book. Make them into a recipe book.
