Decide for yourself: You must decide for yourself. Decide against/in favour of (doing) sth: He eventually decided against telling her. Decide sb to do sth: The look he gave her decided her not to ask. Decide in favour of/against sb: If the Parole Board decides in his favour, the prisoner will be released.
APOLOGISE Apologise to: I think you should apologise to your brother. Apologise for (doing) sth: He later apologised for his behaviour.
DENY 1. Say sth is not true Deny (that): I've never denied that there is a housing problem. Deny doing sth: Two men have denied murdering a woman at a remote picnic spot. Strongly/vehemently etc deny sth: Jackson vehemently denied the allegations. Deny a charge/allegation/claim: The men have denied charges of theft. 2. OFFER Offer sb sth: They offered him a very good job, but he turned it down. Offer sth to sb: The drama school offers places to students who can show talent. Offer to do sth: My dad has offered to pick us up. Offer advice/help/support etc: Your doctor should be able to offer advice on diet. Offer an opportunity/chance/possibility: The course offers the opportunity to specialize in the final year. Have sth to offer (sb): He felt he had nothing to offer her that she wanted. REFUSE Refuse to do sth: I absolutely refuse to take part in anything illegal. Flatly refuse / refuse point-blank (to do sth): Mom flatly refused to go back into the hospital. Refuse sb sth: She was refused a work permit.
	REMIND Remind sb about sth: The girls constantly had to be reminded about their chores. Remind sb to do sth: Remind me to buy some milk tonight. Remind sb (that): Mrs Welland reminded her son that they still had several people to see.  Remind yourself: I reminded myself to watch them closely. Remind sb of sth: That song always reminds me of our first date. Remind sb (of) what/how etc: I was reminded how lucky I was.
RECOMMEND Recommend (that): I recommend that you get some professional advice. Recommend doing sth: I would never recommend using a sunbed on a regular basis. Recommend sth to sb: I recommend this book to anyone with an interest in chemistry. Recommend sth for sb/sth: Which type of oil do you recommend for my car? Recommend sb for sth: I have decided to recommend you for the directorship. Highly/thoroughly recommend: The hotel is highly recommended.
WARN Warn sb about sth: Travellers to Africa are being warned about the danger of HIV infection. Warn (sb) of sth: Salmon farmers are warning of the severe crisis facing the industry. Warn sb (not) to do sth: I warned you not to walk home alone. Warn sb (that): We warned them that there was a bull in the field.
