1. What does ‘rule the roost’ mean?
Your task:
You are going to ‘rule the roost’ for a day. But in order to do that you
need a crown. Using the template, you need to make and decorate
your crown. You may colour it, draw patterns, collage, add sequence
and stars.
Once you are finished, you then have to write a procedure text on how
you did it. So think carefully as you are designing – how will you put it into
words? What verbs will you use? What WOW words?
You will have 40 minutes to complete your crown and 30 minutes to write
your procedure.
