Hold the racquet with
Eastern or Semi-western
Grip
Feet shoulder apart
Lean your body Forward

3. Rotate your shoulder to
the right
Bring your racquet back

4. One step forward
Transfer your weight
back to front
Forehand Stroke

5. Contact with the ball
below waist
Contact with the ball in
front (near front foot)

6. Swing upward about 45
degree
Finish swing with
correct follow throw

8. Backhand Stroke
Feet shoulder apart
Switch grip from eastern
grip to Continental grip

9. Rotate shoulder to left
or right
Bring your racquet back
around your waist
Backhand Stroke

10. Transfer your weight
back to front
Racquet butt should
face forward
Backhand Stroke

11. Contact with the ball at
waist level
Keep your eyes on the
ball until hitting the ball
Backhand Stroke

12. Swing upward about 45
degree
Finish swing with
correct follow throw
