As Ms. Chung has a university degree she may also be
eligible for the H-1b visa.
H-1b’s are for professionals and are usually granted in 3 year
increments for a total of six years.
Must be offered a job from a US company that requires the
same or similar degree and will pay the prevailing wage in
salary.
H-1b visas can be adjusted to permanent residence. If the
permanent process is initiated by the fifth year, the H-1b visa
can be extended during the process.
H-1b’s can be used in many different professions.
