26. How do I complete Adobe Activation? The first time Adobe Digital Editions opens, a prompt will display ... Select 'Authorize Computer'. If you have an Adobe ID: Enter the email address and password for your Adobe account. If you do not have an Adobe ID: Click 'Get an Adobe ID'. An Adobe web page will open. Follow the instructions to create an Adobe ID. You will need to enter an email address, and create a password. Return to the Activation screen, and enter the email address and password for your Adobe account. Click 'Activate'. 28. To add a public domain EPUB to the Adobe Digital Editions Library... Open Adobe Digital Editions. Click the Library icon in the upper left corner. The Library is displayed. Click the word 'Library' in the upper left corner. Select 'Add Item to Library'. The 'Select items to add to library' dialog box is displayed. Navigate to location to which you saved the eBook. Select the eBook. On Windows, click 'Open'. On Mac, click 'Add'. The eBook is added to the Adobe Digital Editions Library
29. How to Return an eBook Before it Expires… Open Adobe Digital Editions. Select the 'Library View' icon (in the upper left corner). The Adobe Digital Editions library is displayed. Under the 'Bookshelves' heading, select 'Borrowed'. Click the eBook you want to return. Click the 'Item Options' arrow (in the upper left corner of the selected eBook). Select 'Return Borrowed Item'. Click 'Return' to verify that you want to return the title. The eBook is returned.
