TOWNHALL AND NFL HALL OF FAMER JIM BROWN
‘FEED THE NEED’ TO HELP UNITE CLEVELAND!
Cleveland, Ohio, November 22, 2013---TownHall has teamed with Amer-I-Can,
founded by NFL great Jim Brown, to provide thousands of turkey dinners to help feed
the needy and less fortunate. ‘Feed The Need’ will take place at TownHall in Ohio City
on Tuesday, November 26, from 10am to 4pm. The team also includes Cleveland Browns
running back Willis McGahee, former Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith, and prominent
local city officials and leaders in the business community.
TownHall is the newest restaurant from Corporate Management Group (CMG),
a Cleveland-based hospitality group, which has organized this charity event.
Amer-I-Can is a national program and movement, created in 1988 by Jim Brown,
to empower individuals to take charge of their lives and achieve their full potential.
The Willis McGahee Foundation, which will donate hats and gloves for this event,
was established to help provide underprivileged children with the tools to become
self-sufficient. The Troy Smith Foundation provides scholarships and mentoring for
challenged inner-city youths.
Councilman Joe Cimperman (Ward 3) and several other prominent city officials
and business leaders will also lend their support. Joe Haden, TJ Ward, Phil Taylor,
Paul Kruger, Joe Thomas, Alex Mack, and local product, quarterback Brian Hoyer,
top a long list of players volunteering their time at TownHall throughout the day to
help ‘Feed The Need.’
