This study examined the relationship between personality type and academic performance in 45 high school students. It used a personality survey based on four types - Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholy, and Phlegmatic. Results showed Sanguines tended to earn Bs and Cs in languages, while Cholerics earned mostly Bs. Melancholies varied in performance. Phlegmatics tended to earn mostly As. Extracurricular activities also differed by personality type. The study concluded understanding personality strengths and weaknesses could help students improve academically.
