The document discusses the seven spheres of influence that Christians are called to penetrate and transform according to the Great Commission: (1) worship/belief systems, (2) family, (3) media, (4) government/politics, (5) education/science and technology, (6) economy/business, and (7) arts & culture. It provides strategies for taking over these spheres by either building new Godly systems or penetrating and restructuring existing systems from within, working quietly like yeast to transform them. Christians are challenged to identify which sphere they will work to take over.
2. Our mandate
The central purpose of a Christian is not to serve
within the four walls of the Church
We are:
1. The salt of the earth – Matthew 5:13
2. The light of the world – Matthew 5:14
3. The Great Commission
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations (ethnos –
people, cultures, behaviors), baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of
the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever
I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you
alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen
Matthew 28:19-20
4. Contrary to how the church has viewed it:
• It is not for a chosen few
• It is not restricted to the pulpit
The fundamental duty of all Christian is to
disciple the nations
5. Origin of the 7 Spheres
Deuteronomy 7:1
When the LORD your God shall bring you into
the land where you go to possess it, and has
cast out many nations before you, the
(1)Hittites, and the (2)Girgashites, and the
(3)Amorites, and the (4)Canaanites, and the
(5)Perizzites, and the (6)Hivites, and the
(7)Jebusites, seven nations greater and
mightier than you;

9. The take Over
There are two major ways to do this
1. Build and plant Godly systems.
Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over
the nations and over the kingdoms, to root
out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to
throw down, to build, and to plant.
10. Building and planting Godly systems
It involves:
a) Rooting out wrong foundations
b) Pulling down faulty models
c) Destroying the influence of wrong ideas
d) Throwing down satanic structures
e) Building and planting new models
11. 2. Penetrate and restructure existing systems
Jer 29:5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and
plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;
Jer 29:6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and
daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give
your daughters to husbands, that they may bear
sons and daughters; that ye may be increased
there, and not diminished.
Jer 29:7 And seek the peace of the city whither I
have caused you to be carried away captives, and
pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof
shall ye have peace.
12. • There are certain systems you go inside and
change from within. Whereas others you
destroy and build afresh
The Yeast Strategy
Mat 13:33 He told them another parable: "The
kingdom from heaven is like yeast that a
woman took and mixed with three measures
of flour until all of it was leavened."
13. We must act as yeast
Functions of yeast in dough (Dr. Myles Munroe)
1. Yeast is small in quantity but powerful in quality
2. Yeast is often underestimated, but it eventually
takes over the whole dough
3. Yeast works quietly without making noise
4. Yeast penetrates dough without losing its nature
14. 5. Yeast influences the entire dough, not just a
section of it
6. Yeast is activated by heat and pressure
7. Yeast is result-oriented; its effects are
observable
8. Yeast is useless unless it is put in use
9. Yeast once put into dough cannot be
extracted
