Development sketches for digipak and advert

Notas del editor

  1. These are rough sketch layouts of the print product. After researching various existing one I felt that ones that stood out the most tend to be ones that have one primary image or illustration to draw the viewer in. artist that influenced these ideas; Tim Marrs, Danny Allison, Alex Cherry, and Julian Opie.
  2. I have created this page in order to display the development and experimentation in illustration styles that I have created, from various images that I have taken of the band. These were influenced by various artists such as Jason Thielke, Philipp Zurmöhle, Nate Vandyke and Doug Bell.
  3. These illustrations were then created from images I had taken of people I met during the gigs where the band were performing. However the one of the crowd was from an image I found on the internet, which I chose to use as i was unable to take one of a large enough audience at the gig.
  4. I then created this as a possible final design for either the digipak cover or the advert. This was created in the style of ale cherry. In order to do this I found a image of a wolf which is appropriate to the name of the band and the image they perceive, adding paint splatters and brusho inks which I scanned in and layered over the original image of the wolf to create this. I chose to keep the colour scheme quite simple and lowered the saturation in order to give it a dark and worn out feel.
