Weather Drops is a weather content presentation and delivery system. The foundation principle recognizes that users of weather information can access weather data at any time.

There is no competitive advantage to automated weather data. Partly Cloudy, 72 has no unique value. Local television meteorological staffs have the manpower to create a continuously updated stream of weather information that reflects the “always on” nature of digital media.

The challenge of local media companies in the digital world is to fight for attention. Unique, quality content draws attention. Association with quality content draws a premium price. Local weather information is one of the few remaining topics that has universal appeal.
