These deaths were mostly caused by natural
means, exposure, disease, or executions
6. People of the Camp
Started out holding only German communists
Grew to hold social democrats, trade
unionists, political opponents of the Nazis,
Jehovah’s Witnesses, Gypsies, homosexuals,
asocials, and criminal offenders

Jews were held in the camps previously
After November 10-11 (Kristallnacht), a larger
number of Jews were incorporated into the
camp
About 10,000 Jewish men were sent to
Dachau
