space, Surrey is loved by people for its quiet neighborhood.
After school and on weekends, you can relax at the park or White Rock and enjoy the
beautiful coast line. It’s also easy to travel to the border, Metro Town and downtown

parks” because you will find nature, golf courses, large parks and recreational areas
throughout the city. Surrey is also a border town to the U.S. and Vancouver is just 40
minutes away. White Rock is one of Surrey’s most famous sightseeing places.

The city of Surrey is one of the 15 largest cities in Canada.
With so much land, urban development is progressing rapidly, new
residential areas are under construction and population is growing at one
of the highest rates in Canada. Surrey has more than 600 parks and it is
known as “the city of parks” Development is progressing rapidly around
the city of Surrey and it has been developed around the station as well.
≪White Rock≫
Did you know that Surrey is a border town to the U.S.?
Surrey, a suburban residential area, is located along the border in Seattle,
America. White Rock is near the border. It has a beautiful coast line and it
lined with cafes and bars. White Rock is still popular among local people as
a place to relax. As the name indicated, a big white rock is on the beach.
≪Guildford Shopping Centre≫
A big shopping mall which has 200 shops and restaurants!
Guilford Shopping Centre is the largest shopping mall in Surrey. It has Wall
Mart, Bay, Canadian Brand shop, sports shops, accessary shops, etc. You
will never get tired of it. You will also enjoy food court and restaurants
there. There are many hotels and restaurants around the shopping mall as
well. 10 minutes by bus from school.
≪A New Residential Area≫
Surrey is one of the newest residential areas in Canada.
It is the largest suburban town in Vancouver and known as a new
residential area. A large number is houses are still built there and a lot of
people are moving to Surrey. Surrey is popular for a convenient (one hour
from the centre of the city), spacious and quiet area. A lot of KGIC staff live
in Surrey.
