4. CSO’S IN FINNISH DEVELOPMENT POLICY

Support for the development cooperation of Finnish CSO's & co-operation with them will be increased

5. KEPA
•
Kepa is the umbrella organisation for Finnish civil society organisations (CSOs) who work with development cooperation or are otherwise interested in global affairs. At the moment Kepa has more than 300 member organisations, ranging from small voluntary- based organisations to major national organisations. 5

8. Register of Associations Finland
•
The result area for Association and Foundation Affairs of the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) is responsible for maintaining the Register of Associations. The result area carries out the freedom of association and freedom of religion guaranteed in the Constitution of Finland. 8
9. Associations in Finland
•
Associations can be registered or non- registered. A registered association can be set up by a minimum of three people aged 15 or over. The founders can also be organisations with legal capacity. Registered associations can have assets, enter into contracts and apply for funding. The Register of Associations is maintained by the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland. 9
