Who is Kim Bryden?
1. Hello!
I’m Kim Bryden, a Digital Strategist and Experiential Marketer in
Washington DC. Currently I am the Head of Social and Digital Strategy for a social-
commerce startup, Treater. Previously, I was a Marketing & Community Relations
Team Lead for Whole Foods Market. With helping to launch both a brick-and-
mortar store and a start-up, I have a never-ending desire to learn all aspects of
consumer behavior, brand engagement and the positive effects of community

2. CHRONOLOGY
With my marketing and event planning expertise, coupled with
my fluency in Spanish, I got a job at Whole Foods Market as a
Marketing & Community Relations Team Lead. Managing a
team of 5 with a variety of positions, I revamped a store that’s
sales had fallen flat and proceeded to be hand-picked to open a
brand new Whole Foods Market in the heart of downtown DC.
While working at Whole Foods, I also got my graduate degree
from Georgetown in digital media management and analytics. I
caught the tech bug and moved on from Whole Foods to work
for a social-gifting startup. I took my experienced knowledge of
social media, community management, merchandising, and
operations from a brick-and-mortar establishment to an online
“store” of Treats. I wanted to diversify my marketing ability by
testing out my skills in both the offline and online world.
I am now the Head of Social for Treater. I’m also a digital
strategy consultant for YouTube; which has pushed my skill set
to another level, a global level. My expertise is in social media
strategy and customer experience but I am constantly striving
to learn new tools. I am already well-versed in Adobe Creative
Suite and I am now dabbling in coding — even attended a Rails
Girls DC workshop! I have an insatiable curiosity and will
always continue to grow and learn.

5. I built Whole Foods Market Foggy
Bottom from the ground up. I developed
its marketing strategy and community
outreach program, along with managing a
brand new team of 5 with a variety of
positions.
7. I want to create:
• A consistent healthy lifestyle for myself
• An influential platform that builds upon
community and new technology
• Everything. I have an insatiable hunger to
be creative and create everything from new
social campaigns to new products.
8. I created a comprehensive influencer
and super fan strategy to maximize
YouTube s brand presence for Comedy
Week. The goal was to engage these super
fans to help promote Comedy Week
through their social channels. By
identifying super fans (active users, 30K+
subscribers, prominent Twitter following)
we were able to start and maintain a
conversation about Comedy Week.
10. I want to drive:
• Growth in an industry where I feel passionate
• Measurement between online & offline data
(social analytics with tangible results)
• A company culture worth bragging about
11. I drove and doubled online communities
for two Whole Foods Market stores, and aided
in overall Mid-Atlantic digital strategy. I also
grew Treater s online presence to a cumulative
(Facebook & Twitter) 6,000 fans in 6 months.
