7. Peer Mentoring Has Begun—Spread the word!
Peer Mentor sessions are designed by students for students! Peer Mentors create
subject area Power Point presentations designed to review subject content and have
fun. Each Peer Mentor Session has an advisor present to supervise and assist. Sessions
take place Monday- Friday, 4:30-5 and they are already in your students’ daily/weekly
plan.

Here at GCA we believe all students need support and encouragement, not only
from counselors, teachers, or learning coaches but from their peers as well. Please
fill out the top form if you are a teen mom or expecting mother at GCA or fill out
the bottom link if your parent, LC, or family member is a in the military. This is a
new program for student that can benefit from a weekly space to learn, grow and
receive support. All families referred will receive a follow up call from one of our
counselors regarding the start date and intake process and referrals are completely
CONFIDENTIAL!
