Summary of the sloka
Food contaminated with poison when comes in contact with skin
causes kandu (itching), daha(burning ), usha, jwara(fever),
arti(pain), sphota(blisters), supti(numbness), falling of nails and hair
and shopha(oedema).
Treatment modalities like seka(irrigation with medicine) etc..which
pacify toxicity are recommended.
Smearing the body with paste made of somavalka, talisapatra,
kustha, Amrutha, nata, sevya, Chandana and padmak are also
desirable in this condition.

With the help of these signs and symptoms we can assess the
presence of poison.
Concept of Visha pareekshya can be compared with
examination of poisoning cases.
