Challenges in my research Understanding the context of conversations in  networking Technology is moving away from the content of the learner’s interactions and communications Awareness of environment and reflection on environment depends greatly on the engagement of the user
What should you focus on? How can we design technology in such a way that the user engages with the data in a meaningful way? So that the learner is triggered to think/reflect? How can we design technology in such a way that it trains the user in becoming better at her (networked) learning?
Research agenda for next 5 years More understanding of the skills needed for networked learning Designing technology not only for users to become more aware of their environment but also to learn why it is important to be aware We work with ICT – “C” is central!
