Mr. Taylor currently is a project manager in CDC’s global migration and quarantine program,
providing senior policy & communication leadership for CDC’s domestic and international public
health practice. He supports disease surveillance through preventing the importation of infectious
diseases that cause severe illness and death in regions of the world where large numbers of U.S.-
bound immigrants and refugees reside. Mr. Taylor also identifies and responds to newly emerging
and re-emerging diseases through regulatory change to mitigate the risk to the U.S. public health
posed by immigrant and refugee populations. He also provides senior public health program and
operations consultation to develop and manage new or existing initiatives relevant to domestic
and international public health medical examinations for immigrants and refugees. In addition,
Mr. Taylor reviews and analyses studies and projects assessing major and/or sensitive public
