Director of the Steinbeis Transfer Centre Sprachlernmedien / Language Learning Media and Professor (em.) of Applied English Linguistics at the University of Tübingen. My research and teaching interests focus on communicative and constructivist principles of second language learning & teaching, English as a lingua franca communication and development, lingua franca pedagogy, discourse comprehension and communication, as well as translation ad interpreting.
