about Malala Yousafzai and it caught my interest. My
firestarter report today is about Malala.
3. Malala Yousafzai
Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12th, 1997 in
Mingora, Pakistan.
She is a student and education activist.
Malala was shot on October 9th, 2012 by the Taliban
on her way home from school because she wanted to
have an education and for fighting for women's
rights. She was critically injured but survived and is
making a full recovery.
Malala is an inspiration to many people for her act of
bravery.
