This document discusses using augmented reality for 3D modeling in education. It lists several augmented reality software programs that can be used such as FlarToolkit, BuildAR Studio, and AR-media. Google Sketchup and Gimp are mentioned as tools for creating 3D models. Using augmented reality in the classroom is presented as a way to engage students through interactive augmented reality activities on markers and with mobile devices.
