  1. 1. Loose weight due to less nutrients being absorbed. 2. Reduce activity of protease so less amino acids absorbed as optimum pH is acidic. (Recall role of bile)
  2. Discuss importance of carbon as organic molecule.
  3. Also fructose and galactose. Alpha and beta glucose are isomers (same chemical formula just a different arrangement), beta the hydroxide group is swapped.
  4. Insoluble red precipitate of copper (I) oxide. Sucrose is non-reducing.
  5. Emphasise equal volume, heating and semi-quantitative nature of test.
