3. What is Latino Heritage Month? By Abod and West For Latino Heritage Month we studied Mexico. We learned about what kinds of food Mexicans eat. We also learned about the holidays that they celebrate. We researched what kinds of houses they use to make, and the ancient people that used to live there before the Europeans came. We studied Mexico, you can study anything Spanish.
4. Why is Latino Heritage month important?By Callie, Katie and Hannah Latino Heritage month celebrates Spanish speaking countries and Spanish speaking people. In the past month we’ve studied a lot about Mexico and Mexico’s history.

6. School in MexicoBy Kaylyn The kids in Mexico have to wear special uniforms to school. They study math history and science. They have gym and recess. They start school at age six. They study for nine years.

8. Why did Diego Rivera end up painting murals?By Tony, Caleb, and Solly Diego Rivera ended up painting murals because he wanted everybody to see his paintings. Murals are in public so everyone could see them not just tourists who go to museums. Also on murals you can fit lots of different things.

14. RufinoTamayo Art By Madilynn His art became famous quickly. He had his first art shows in 1926 in Mexico City and New York.
15. RufinoTamayo’s Art By Madilynn Rufino Tamayo didn’t make art about politics like other Mexican artists, he preferred childlike art.
16. Rufino Tamayo By Megan This painting is called women reaching out to the moon. He completed it in1946. I think it looks like they are dancing in the moon light. I wonder how he got the idea. Or if he felt something during the time. I think the painting shows Happy not sad. What do you think?
