My Personal Profiles
There were various types of profiles and characteristics discussed in this section, such as exquisite
sensitivity to the personal, group offense patrol, slight trigger disease, and heavy into violence.
Exquisite Sensitivity to the Personal (ESP) is when an individual is hypersensitive to advice,
confrontation, or questioning of behavior, another term for this type of person is the Perpetually
Offended. One person that fits this profile is my younger 17 year old brother. He has always been
a very sensitive person overall, but most interactions to him are construed as an attack or a
challenge, for whatever reason. He is pretty rash in his decisions and is still trying to figure himself
out as far as I can tell. I have learned from this course...show more content...
These type of people are very quick to anger and they view anger/violence as the answer to all
problems. My mom gets very angry and defensive when someone does not agree with her, and
believes that fighting people will help them see her point of view. She has always been this way
for as long as I can remember, and used to talk about how she was a bully in middle/high school.
It is very difficult to communicate to those with slight trigger disease when they have to be "in
your face". They know what intimidation tactics to use, and are quick to threaten or use violence
to get their point across. They might have learned this behavior from a parent or sibling and
haven't learned the consequences for their destructive behavior. Maybe this behavior makes them
feel like they are in control, but in actuality they are like a volcano about to erupt. When one is
around this type of person they might feel like they are "walking on eggshells" as to not upset
this person. This course asserts that the best way to respond to this type of person is to avoid
logical approaches. It is very difficult to get them to see someone else's point of view or change
their mind. I have never been able to directly confront my mom as I fear what the outcome would
be. If she were a student of mine, however, and behaved like this there would be consequences for

Personal Self Assessment Essay
Self assessment is a process in which you examine yourself in attempt to discover and learn more
about yourself. Your likes, dislikes, behaviors, attitudes and habits can be found during this process.
You can use the discoveries to your advantage by accepting or changing strengths and weaknesses. I
plan on using this course to enhance my personal skills to become a better student and find success
in earning my Bachelor of Arts degree at Ashford University in Social Science.Self Assessment is
the first step in my successful future.
I can remember in high school, it seemed like I was always one of the last students finished with a
test.
I was sometimes slower at completing a written paper or an assignment. In open discussions...show

I have discovered some interesting things I have noticed in myself before taking this course. For
example, my learning style I have noticed is the visual learning style.
With this, I prefer to see and read information to full gain comprehension. If I forget the data, or
not clearly understand it the first time read, I have the option of reading it over. I do not always
trust myself to absorb all information the first time around. I take a lot of notes to look at. Notes
help me remember even though I may not read the again, I can refer to them in my mind after
writing them down. I am not sure if just anyone reading them would get anything out of it, but at
least I know what they mean.
I like to take my time with material, but am not always given the allotted time to do so. I also like
to keep a written list of things to do to refer to. I am comfortable with my learning style, accepted
it as my very own. I am not sure if changing it this late in life is such a good idea. I have got by this
far, it must work out for me.
I have identified my personality style as being extroverted, one who becomes easily energized by
others, and outwardly expressing thoughts as long as I am fully understanding context and material
being discussed. If I have no idea what is being addressed, I am better of keeping quiet to save
myself from

In modern business, it is important to have a mindset of sustainability and environmentally friendly
business practices. Two fundamental characteristics of an effective and sustainable leadership
model are having the foresight of what the company is trying to attain and identifying the worth in
the process and supplying the leadership to reach the companies goals. Leadership begins with
trusting in the process, and adhering to the steps themselves. The single best way to achieve this is
to lead by example. In this paper the author will explain how Marie Ziegler of John Deere help set
the company on the path it follows today.
Marie Ziegler has set the standard for John...show more content...
Marie recognized that the customers are the reason a company exists. As a good leader she
understood that without customers, there is no need for the products that John Deere provides.
The product and the service that any company provides is a direct reflection of the dedication of a
company, its values and its employees. The conduct of a business from the president and CEO all
the way down to the staff on the sales floor reflects a company's values.
Strategy is what a leader uses to develop a set of actions to follow that supports long term visions,
values and objectives (Desjardins, 2007). Strategy is the crucial aspect for the integrated management
system. There are key elements to developing the strategy that surrounds all the health, safety, and
environmental considerations required to fulfill the strategic plan. Included within this are the
planning process, setting targets and objectives, establishing and environmental policy that backs the
vision of the company, contemplating which industry code of practices will be instituted, and
defining the framework for communication. When these aspects are combined, they create an
environmental policy that states a company's base principals and projected intentions for
environmental performance.
Marie exhibits a take control type personality which is a strong

Knees weak from climbing a flight of stairs or the anticipation of meeting Brian, I walked into his
office announcing my presence with a raspy, delayed voice. Upon flinging open the door, his face
lifted of his desk and stared at me with a distant expression. My first take of Brian caught me off
guard, with his apple red mohawk, wearing his branded castle racing jacket and pants. Looking at
his appearance you just knew he was into racing. After building up the confidence to murmur
good morning we left his office to his own personal race track he made at his house. "There is
more to just sitting down on a vehicle and holding down the throttle. If it was that easy everyone
would do it." For Brian racing has come at a cost and has been through adversity on and off the track.
Racing was always there for Brian. "I raced motorcycles or any other vehicles such as snowmobiles,

Essay on Me Myself and Personality Traits
Me Myself and Personality Traits When asked to describe myself I never know what to say, but I
should know myself the best, right? I like to look at myself as a genuine, thoughtful young lady.
I'm a hard worker; I believe nothing is ever handed to you so you have to go get it. I worked hard to
get to this point of my life and working even harder to get to the successful and graduate part of
my life. I care more for some others than I do myself but I have a huge nonchalant attitude. I don't
really show anger or sadness much I always smile because I'm optimistic about life. I look at life as
if something bad comes along, no need to dwell on it you can't take it back so just move–on and
improve what you did wrong if it's possible....show more content...
I was taught to be caring and thoughtful; I wasn't taught anything else from anyone other than not to
trust people. I'm the odd ball of my family because I am nothing like anyone. I can say I was also
taught to believe in myself and never down myself because I can accomplish anything. That is
shown through my determination and hard work because if I didn't believe in myself I wouldn't try
as hard. Last but not all, Humanistic approach sums up my personality a little more than
psychodynamic does because it involves nature vs. nurture and that kind of sums it up just saying
that. Environment and Heredity is kind of the main reasons of my attitudes and actions. In the
article, Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Briggs conducts different forms of
psychotherapy techniques to prove whether things in an adolescent's life effect different adolescents
differently. His study was a success and proved that many adolescents have different interpretations
on the same issue. He read them off different problems and wanted to see how they would interpret
them. He used children in the age groups of 12–17 and it worked out. I think that the different
approaches can be brought together in some circumstances but in my case it doesn't. My personality
makes more sense coming from the humanistic approach. Briggs, Stephen (2010). Time–Limited

one of the most difficult things to do, because there are two education options. The two options are

Allowing your mind to guide your pen without any inhibitions is a skill that is priceless to me as a
student. The editing process allows for this free writing without worry of format or grammatical
accuracy. Writing is a release; it allows me to disperse my scattered thoughts into a coherent
reading for someone else to get a snapshot into my mind. Every individual's mind contains beliefs,
views, feelings, and opinions that are otherwise contained unless verbally released or done so in
written form. Whether it is in a notebook, a diary, even through a thesis, writing allows the mind to
purge emotions and ideas onto paper for others to digest. I feel that being ashamed or embarrassed to
display your writings can be a disservice to others, as they may learn a valuable lesson from you or
simply take comfort in that someone feels the same way they do. Reading the works of others is eye
opening to me as well. Open mindedness is a theory that I adopt first and foremost as I read. When I
embark on reading a new book, first and foremost I do not judge the book by its cover. "You HAVE
to read this book," my Mom insisted as she set down a novel on my desk. The cover looked bland
and wasn't sparking any desire in me to open it. I let that book get buried under piles of junk as I

Andrew was born at Bangkok, Thailand. At the time he told me that, I became so interest to know
about the culture, and all the differences between there and here. The most interesting thing about
Andrew is that he has already lived in few different places and knows a lot of different cultures.
He lived there in Bangkok until his six years old, and he had a good life there. He was used to
live in a property where his family was the only white family in the whole building, what for me, I
think it would be kind of scary, but according to him, it was kind of normal for him and his
parents. His dad was used to work for a company back in Bangkok that when Andrew was six, the
company changed place to Arizona, United States. With six years, he had already challenged the
difficulties of change home to another country, and especially the big change of culture.

Over the course, I have learned that all people are unique and have their own personal traits and
qualities. One person does not just simply fall into one category, but various categories. What is
beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned

Many people work very hard in their life but they do not seem to be able to achieve something
worthwhile (Personal Goal Setting, 2013). Successful people on the other hand, know what they
want and create plans to help them achieve these goals. They will establish a step by step plan, and
will continue to follow that plan until their goal is achieved. These people tend to be proactive
rather than be reactive. Personal planning is really important because it helps you not only to
achieve your goals but to tell you how you can achieve them. Without a personal plan, it will be hard
to attain any objectives you want to complete. Whether it is a short–term goal or a long–term goal,
there must be a strategy on how to reach it. Having goals at...show more content...
Or you may want to have a positive monthly cash flow of $500 dollars to be put in the savings
account, so then you will need to plan on how you should lower your expenses to reach the monthly

Goal setting is therefore really important in our everyday personal life. However in my case, I have
difficulty managing my time for schoolwork and personal finances.
For schoolwork, I always finish my schoolwork in the last minute or study right before quizzes or
tests. A reason for this may be due to I never planned a schedule for how and when will I study for
a test or for a project. I usually forget about having a test or is just lazy to start studying for it. This
is why when I start studying the night before the test or exam, I have a hard time trying to figure
what should I study first and what I should study last. Then, a lot of time is wasted on deciding how
I should start studying. I usually tend to wait for things such as exams and schoolwork to appear
before addressing them.
In order to be better at personal planning and become more successful, a specific strategy must be
implemented relating to goal–setting and time management. Studying for exams require a lot of
time and hard work to achieve good grades. The first task to do if you want to be successful at
school is to set a goal about getting good grades. Without this goal,

A person's identity is shaped by many different aspects. Family, culture, friends, personal interests

Society has had a limited impact on my lifestyle, mostly because I despise trends. The largest trends
I despise are rap and hip–hop and the clothing, attitudes, and type of speech that that type of 'music'
is breeding. I chose to steer away from that crowd, but it may also be because I live my life off of
adrenaline. My high on life is the energy I have when I get my blood pumping, my heart
pounding, and my adrenaline raging. Most aspects of my individuality reflect that very well. I
love hard, aggressive music, and also guns, but my passion in life is extreme sports, whether it be
on a dirt bike, a bmx bike, a snowmobile, or a snowboard. I have a strong set of morals and ethics
that I have partly adopted from my parents, but some are also partly my own. My morals mostly
consist of karma (being kind, caring, helpful, truthful, and considerate to others), not littering
(especially in nature), respecting nature, keeping a clean and welcoming home, success that is
measured with happiness and not possessions, and having strong family ties. I feel that I am very

carry very interesting conversations about the explosion. When it came to the community and the

the first nuclear explosion happened in Pennsyvania and how it thought it was funny that they made
fun of the Soviets and later married one. He let me in on how people were worried about the

first time when I went shopping with my grandmother. Every day my brother and I would search the

My community has taught me life skills, but this community has one flaw. About 80% of my
community are Asian and they often can be narrow–minded of other ethnicities. The first taste I had
was when I was hanging out with other Asian kids. The children did not agree to play with
African–American kids as a result of their parents admonishing them. Fortunately, my parents
disliked the color barrier and provided me multiple chances to explore and decide who I wanted to
be around. My brother and I were signed up for a diverse sports program. We did not believe what
the adults said about other races, so we gave it a shot. I got a sense of African–American and
Hispanic culture and realized how wrong the adults were who told me how they were "dangerous/

Example Of A Child Profile Essay
Aiden is calm, logical and has superior intelligence. He also can come as rather detached, and
sometimes threatening when need be. He is from a wealthy family, which manages health care
and is the youngest of three. He prefers to sleep late, often due to business and schoolwork
keeping him up until the wee hours; and he suffers from hypotension, which makes rising difficult.
He is very polite to people who are in power or related to it, and claims he only helps people who
can benefit him somehow. Aiden has short, black hair, usually styled into a smart/casual look and
has brownish–grey eyes. He is thin; five feet, ten inches tall and wears slim, rimless glasses. Aiden is
always impeccably groomed, dressed appropriately for any occasion, and is naturally stylish and
neat. He decided to go to...show more content...

Personal Characteristics Essay
There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his
professional success, namely openness, ability to learn and adapt etc. These personal
characteristics can sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn't. As I spend more
and more time as a professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for
professional success: namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These characteristics come out in
many different ways. Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to
pursue your goal? What are the sacrifices you can do to achieve your ambition? How much can
you think out of the box to resolve a particular issue or bring new idea to the table? How...show more

This characteristic will motivate me to grow better in my future career as well. I believe that few
people have a strong inner feeling that pushes them to think out of the box to identify as issue and
find the solution. Personally, I always try to find the most creative solution and do not give up until
I get it. Sometime this energy is contagious on to next. I always search for the missing links and
fine–tune my thoughts until I reach a point that works. This creativity has steadily driven my
ambitions through the organization. Today the world is changing so rapidly and the way it has
changed in last few decades, it hasn't changed in last few hundred years. So adaptability has become
the need of the hour. I believe that adaptability is the most important quality of all, particularly if one
is in technology industry. There have been times when this adaptability has changed the
nomenclature of day and night but it has also given me rewards at the appropriate times.
Adaptability, personally, has created a far–reaching international outlook and I was able to spend
time, living outside my country of origin, working for UK retails giants and this stay not only
diversified my work experience but also my cultural experience. It has improved my exposure to
diverse situations with increasing levels of complexity and this exposure has increased my
eagerness for new challenges. It has instigated a feeling in me that there

Personal Profile Essay Examples

  • 1. My Personal Profiles There were various types of profiles and characteristics discussed in this section, such as exquisite sensitivity to the personal, group offense patrol, slight trigger disease, and heavy into violence. Exquisite Sensitivity to the Personal (ESP) is when an individual is hypersensitive to advice, confrontation, or questioning of behavior, another term for this type of person is the Perpetually Offended. One person that fits this profile is my younger 17 year old brother. He has always been a very sensitive person overall, but most interactions to him are construed as an attack or a challenge, for whatever reason. He is pretty rash in his decisions and is still trying to figure himself out as far as I can tell. I have learned from this course...show more content... These type of people are very quick to anger and they view anger/violence as the answer to all problems. My mom gets very angry and defensive when someone does not agree with her, and believes that fighting people will help them see her point of view. She has always been this way for as long as I can remember, and used to talk about how she was a bully in middle/high school. It is very difficult to communicate to those with slight trigger disease when they have to be "in your face". They know what intimidation tactics to use, and are quick to threaten or use violence to get their point across. They might have learned this behavior from a parent or sibling and haven't learned the consequences for their destructive behavior. Maybe this behavior makes them feel like they are in control, but in actuality they are like a volcano about to erupt. When one is around this type of person they might feel like they are "walking on eggshells" as to not upset this person. This course asserts that the best way to respond to this type of person is to avoid logical approaches. It is very difficult to get them to see someone else's point of view or change their mind. I have never been able to directly confront my mom as I fear what the outcome would be. If she were a student of mine, however, and behaved like this there would be consequences for certain Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Personal Self Assessment Essay Self assessment is a process in which you examine yourself in attempt to discover and learn more about yourself. Your likes, dislikes, behaviors, attitudes and habits can be found during this process. You can use the discoveries to your advantage by accepting or changing strengths and weaknesses. I plan on using this course to enhance my personal skills to become a better student and find success in earning my Bachelor of Arts degree at Ashford University in Social Science.Self Assessment is the first step in my successful future. I can remember in high school, it seemed like I was always one of the last students finished with a test. I was sometimes slower at completing a written paper or an assignment. In open discussions...show more content... I have discovered some interesting things I have noticed in myself before taking this course. For example, my learning style I have noticed is the visual learning style. With this, I prefer to see and read information to full gain comprehension. If I forget the data, or not clearly understand it the first time read, I have the option of reading it over. I do not always trust myself to absorb all information the first time around. I take a lot of notes to look at. Notes help me remember even though I may not read the again, I can refer to them in my mind after writing them down. I am not sure if just anyone reading them would get anything out of it, but at least I know what they mean. I like to take my time with material, but am not always given the allotted time to do so. I also like to keep a written list of things to do to refer to. I am comfortable with my learning style, accepted it as my very own. I am not sure if changing it this late in life is such a good idea. I have got by this far, it must work out for me. I have identified my personality style as being extroverted, one who becomes easily energized by others, and outwardly expressing thoughts as long as I am fully understanding context and material being discussed. If I have no idea what is being addressed, I am better of keeping quiet to save myself from Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Personality Profile Essay Personality Profile MGT/360 Personality Profile In modern business, it is important to have a mindset of sustainability and environmentally friendly business practices. Two fundamental characteristics of an effective and sustainable leadership model are having the foresight of what the company is trying to attain and identifying the worth in the process and supplying the leadership to reach the companies goals. Leadership begins with trusting in the process, and adhering to the steps themselves. The single best way to achieve this is to lead by example. Marie recognized that the customers are the reason a company exists. As a good leader she understood that without customers, there is no need for the products that John Deere provides. The product and the service that any company provides is a direct reflection of the dedication of a company, its values and its employees. The conduct of a business from the president and CEO all the way down to the staff on the sales floor reflects a company's values. Strategy is what a leader uses to develop a set of actions to follow that supports long term visions, values and objectives (Desjardins, 2007). Strategy is the crucial aspect for the integrated management system. There are key elements to developing the strategy that surrounds all the health, safety, and environmental considerations required to fulfill the strategic plan. Included within this are the planning process, setting targets and objectives, establishing and environmental policy that backs the vision of the company, contemplating which industry code of practices will be instituted, and defining the framework for communication. When these aspects are combined, they create an environmental policy that states a company's base principals and projected intentions for environmental performance. Upon flinging open the door, his face lifted of his desk and stared at me with a distant expression. My first take of Brian caught me off guard, with his apple red mohawk, wearing his branded castle racing jacket and pants. Looking at his appearance you just knew he was into racing. After building up the confidence to murmur good morning we left his office to his own personal race track he made at his house. "There is more to just sitting down on a vehicle and holding down the throttle. If it was that easy everyone would do it." For Brian racing has come at a cost and has been through adversity on and off the track. Racing was always there for Brian. • 6. Essay on Me Myself and Personality Traits Me Myself and Personality Traits When asked to describe myself I never know what to say, but I should know myself the best, right? I like to look at myself as a genuine, thoughtful young lady. I'm a hard worker; I believe nothing is ever handed to you so you have to go get it. I worked hard to get to this point of my life and working even harder to get to the successful and graduate part of my life. I care more for some others than I do myself but I have a huge nonchalant attitude. I don't really show anger or sadness much I always smile because I'm optimistic about life. I look at life as if something bad comes along, no need to dwell on it you can't take it back so just move–on and improve what you did wrong if it's possible....show more content... I was taught to be caring and thoughtful; I wasn't taught anything else from anyone other than not to trust people. I'm the odd ball of my family because I am nothing like anyone. I can say I was also taught to believe in myself and never down myself because I can accomplish anything. That is shown through my determination and hard work because if I didn't believe in myself I wouldn't try as hard. Last but not all, Humanistic approach sums up my personality a little more than psychodynamic does because it involves nature vs. nurture and that kind of sums it up just saying that. Environment and Heredity is kind of the main reasons of my attitudes and actions. In the article, Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Briggs conducts different forms of psychotherapy techniques to prove whether things in an adolescent's life effect different adolescents differently. His study was a success and proved that many adolescents have different interpretations on the same issue. He read them off different problems and wanted to see how they would interpret them. He used children in the age groups of 12–17 and it worked out. I think that the different approaches can be brought together in some circumstances but in my case it doesn't. My personality makes more sense coming from the humanistic approach. Briggs, Stephen (2010). Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for Adolescents and Young Adults. Examples Of Profile Essay Profile Essay For many freshmen coming out of high school, declaring a major at Cosumnes River College is one of the most difficult things to do, because there are two education options. The two options are going to school to earn a certificate which often takes one to two years, and the second option is going to school to earn a degree which takes four to six years. One career that is an option at Cosumnes River College if you decided to go to school to earn a two–year certificate or a two–year Associates degree is the Cosumnes Rivers College Ford Asset automotive program. Every individual's mind contains beliefs, views, feelings, and opinions that are otherwise contained unless verbally released or done so in written form. Whether it is in a notebook, a diary, even through a thesis, writing allows the mind to purge emotions and ideas onto paper for others to digest. I feel that being ashamed or embarrassed to display your writings can be a disservice to others, as they may learn a valuable lesson from you or simply take comfort in that someone feels the same way they do. Reading the works of others is eye opening to me as well. Open mindedness is a theory that I adopt first and foremost as I read. When I embark on reading a new book, first and foremost I do not judge the book by its cover. "You HAVE to read this book," my Mom insisted as she set down a novel on my desk. The cover looked bland and wasn't sparking any desire in me to open it. I let that book get buried under piles of junk as I packed my bags for college. I did not know my decision to turn down a acceptance to the University of Maryland instead enroll in Northeastern's D'Amore–McKim school of business reflected my need to better understand my role in society. Describe specific examples of how I act under stress and how it affects relationships Stress is a common occurrence in my life that I struggle with when I overcomplicate my life. Stress for myself comes most easily when I know that I have committed to something and not been able to follow through on what I have promised. In being engaged to Lauren, my fiancГ©, there have been numerous times we have planned out our weeks together and when we would see each other. In that set amount of time sometimes I have been late due to not finishing tasks that I have in enough time so that I can see her, and thus have negatively impacted our relationship. When I realized that I would need to write a profile of someone else, I thought it would be the easiest essay that I have ever done. Contrary to my expectations, I realized that to write someone else's profile is kind of hard, because it is not only a simple thing such as just write the entire life of the person. I knew that he was a different guy with a lot of experiences for me to know, but actually he was way more than that. Andrew was born at Bangkok, Thailand. At the time he told me that, I became so interest to know about the culture, and all the differences between there and here. The most interesting thing about Andrew is that he has already lived in few different places and knows a lot of different cultures. He lived there in Bangkok until his six years old, and he had a good life there. He was used to live in a property where his family was the only white family in the whole building, what for me, I think it would be kind of scary, but according to him, it was kind of normal for him and his parents. His dad was used to work for a company back in Bangkok that when Andrew was six, the company changed place to Arizona, United States. With six years, he had already challenged the difficulties of change home to another country, and especially the big change of culture. Andrew was lucky to move when he was only six, because whenever you have more then ten years and had already made a lot of friends, and had already gone to school, it would be much harder to get used to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. How To Write A Personal Profile Essay Alejandro is a vibrant and enthusiastic boy. I went to his house and had the opportunity to learn about him and his family. I first started by introducing myself and creating an atmosphere for him where he will feel comfortable talking with me. I asked him his name, age, and grade in school. He then started talking about his friends at school and what they do during recess. I asked Alejandro if he could share with me an object that is important to him. He ran to his room and brought back a maraca. The maraca was brown. He showed me how he plays his maraca and started singing a song. I asked him what does the maraca mean to him? One person does not just simply fall into one category, but various categories. What is beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned that we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours. As a perfectionist, I like to present my things beautifully and creatively, and it is clearly seen on my collage. Even when someone is being rude, I try to "kill them with kindness" in return. I used the quote: "Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not on the outside. I think people sometimes, even me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don't focus on personality. A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because I already knew I had these traits as a part of my personality. However, the results from mylearning styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last year, I took a survey to figure out my learning style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can be learned and strengthened. I learned plenty of things from my results. My values–which I didn't see clearly–are now clear, and I found out the little unique things that make up my personality. • 14. Personal Development Essay Many people work very hard in their life but they do not seem to be able to achieve something worthwhile (Personal Goal Setting, 2013). Successful people on the other hand, know what they want and create plans to help them achieve these goals. They will establish a step by step plan, and will continue to follow that plan until their goal is achieved. These people tend to be proactive rather than be reactive. Personal planning is really important because it helps you not only to achieve your goals but to tell you how you can achieve them. Without a personal plan, it will be hard to attain any objectives you want to complete. Whether it is a short–term goal or a long–term goal, there must be a strategy on how to reach it. Or you may want to have a positive monthly cash flow of $500 dollars to be put in the savings account, so then you will need to plan on how you should lower your expenses to reach the monthly cash flow you want. Goal setting is therefore really important in our everyday personal life. However in my case, I have difficulty managing my time for schoolwork and personal finances. For schoolwork, I always finish my schoolwork in the last minute or study right before quizzes or tests. A reason for this may be due to I never planned a schedule for how and when will I study for a test or for a project. I usually forget about having a test or is just lazy to start studying for it. This is why when I start studying the night before the test or exam, I have a hard time trying to figure what should I study first and what I should study last. Then, a lot of time is wasted on deciding how I should start studying. I usually tend to wait for things such as exams and schoolwork to appear before addressing them. In order to be better at personal planning and become more successful, a specific strategy must be implemented relating to goal–setting and time management. Studying for exams require a lot of time and hard work to achieve good grades. The first task to do if you want to be successful at school is to set a goal about getting good grades. Some factors may have more of an influence than others and some may not have any influence at all. As a person grows up in a family, they are influenced by many aspects of their life. Family and culture may influence a person's sense of responsibilities, ethics and morals, tastes in music, humor and sports, and many other aspects of life. The largest trends I despise are rap and hip–hop and the clothing, attitudes, and type of speech that that type of 'music' is breeding. I chose to steer away from that crowd, but it may also be because I live my life off of adrenaline. My high on life is the energy I have when I get my blood pumping, my heart pounding, and my adrenaline raging. Most aspects of my individuality reflect that very well. I love hard, aggressive music, and also guns, but my passion in life is extreme sports, whether it be on a dirt bike, a bmx bike, a snowmobile, or a snowboard. I have a strong set of morals and ethics that I have partly adopted from my parents, but some are also partly my own. My morals mostly consist of karma (being kind, caring, helpful, truthful, and considerate to others), not littering (especially in nature), respecting nature, keeping a clean and welcoming home, success that is measured with happiness and not possessions, and having strong family ties. I feel that I am very strongly rounded individual who is going to go far in life. Many people would agree with that, although some people just think that I am an absolutely crazy person who has a death wish and will not go anywhere but to the hospital or the morgue. Educational experiences also tend to influence a person's identity. I have not had too many educational Get more content on HelpWriting.net

You may not know right now but I know how mine is with the success profile I have done twice already this year. You can really see the difference between the two. Some of the reasons behind this is because of JROTC, High school and my friends. The first success profiler I did had all the scores with my personality in the middle. Since I just started JROTC that was the usual score. Then I started working hard in JROTC I did activities and learned the creed. The creed helped me learn respect for myself and others and most importantly how to treat everyone in the school. Also with JROTC I have been taught many ways to keep my anger on a shelf and to not show my anger. My second success Get more content on HelpWriting.net

When I talked with Mr. McCaskill, I learned a lot of things, most of them way beyond just the questions given to ask. We talked of different things that he experienced and many things that he has learned and researched over the years. It was very suprising, to be truthful, and we were actually able to carry very interesting conversations about the explosion. When it came to the community and the people around me, I learned a lot of how they acted during the time and somethings that they could have been thinking. Mr. McCaskill told me about the jokes his high school classmates made when the first nuclear explosion happened in Pennsyvania and how it thought it was funny that they made fun of the Soviets and later married one. He let me in on how people were worried about the Soviets, them gaining power, but when they saw the terrible safety haziards that caused the explosion, the feelings changed. My community reaches from a small part of Chicago to different, more well–known parts of the Windy City. This community has taught me many principles of life despite how my part of the city is secluded and at times, refuses to assimilate. As I've watched this city grow old, I've also seen how this community has built me piece by piece to who I am today. As stated by Dorothy Height, without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life. It's important to the person who serves as well as the recipient. It's the way in which we ourselves grow and develop. This, in fact, is true. In the community I have grown to love, the people and the events that occur have taught me how to treat others, regardless our age, knowledge, etc. These morals were ingrained into me the first time when I went shopping with my grandmother.
