El surgimiento de los NOcars La mitad de la población mundial vive en ciudades y ya se ha alcanzado el billón de vehículos en el planeta (la mitad de los cuales se concentra en los 34 países de la OCDE). Así, resulta llamativo observar la cantidad de pérdidas que genera esta inversión masiva en términos de tecnología, espacio, infraestructuras y dinero... sí, malgastamos nuestros coches. El coche medio se utiliza sólo durante 50 minutos al día, lo que implica que dedicamos una gran proporción del tiempo al estacionamiento. Durante el 80% del tiempo el conductor está solo en el coche, lo que genera una congestión permanente del tráfico y un aumento de la presión para que se construyan más carreteras. La situación empeora si tenemos en cuenta que dedicamos el equivalente a 100 minutos de cada una de nuestras jornadas de trabajo a la financiación de este objeto de deseo y “libertad” con el que los fabricantes de vehículos quieren que sigamos soñando, ¿no os parece? Dada la situación, a nadie le sorprende que empiece a surgir una nueva tendencia a nivel mundial, a la que nos podríamos referir genéricamente como "coche vecinal", o de manera abreviada NOcar (por su nombre en inglés “neighborhood car” y buscando intencionadamente el juego de palabras). El NOcar funciona a demanda del usuario y es económico, práctico, conectado, integrado, social y fiable. Se trata de un servicio, no de un producto... La expresión más sencilla y en ocasiones la más inteligente del NOcar es... el taxi. También podríamos incluir dentro de la categoría de NOcar toda la gama de marcas y servicios de vehículos compartidos, desde Avancar a Car2go, pasando por Greenwheels o Zipcar. La variante más novedosa, más hippie y probablemente la más avanzada en este ámbito es... tu propio coche, ya que el uso de vehículos compartidos P2P se está extendiendo como la pólvora por todo el mundo. Es conveniente que analicemos y compartamos parte de la sabiduría de CityzenCar, más concretamente los 3 discursos sobre el NOcar y el arte de la persuasión: el discurso de descubrimiento el discurso transaccional, que tiene lugar cuando se aceptan las normas, derechos y obligaciones que regirán a las partes. el discurso sobre el vehículo, dado que el producto físico es manipulado y utilizado. los factores de éxito del NOcar son de una sencillez desesperante, por lo que resulta muy complicado alcanzar este éxito a diario: el NOcar TIENE que ganarle a los vehículos de propiedad individual: más sencillo, más práctico, más barato y más rápido. el NOcar TIENE que ser MUY SIMPLE: abstenerse esquemas complejos e ingenieros. el NOcar tiene que CUMPLIR su compromiso, sin reducir los niveles de excelencia operativa, a diario.
