2. Black Swan is about a ballet dancer who wins the lead for the Swan
Lake, but the delicate swan slowly looses her mind and becomes
more and more like the Black Swan.
The first credit sequence shown on the Black Swan
trailer is the certification of the film. The film is rated a
‘R’ which means that under 18’s are restricted from
watching the film.
The second credit sequence shown is from ‘FOX
Searchlight Pictures’. FOX is involved in the
production and distribution of independent and
mainly British films. It mainly distributes drama and
horror based films.
3. The third sequence shown is from Crosscreek
Pictures who was also a producer and
distributor.
The fourth credit sequence is ‘Opening Night Venice
Film Festival 2010’. This tells the viewers that Black
Swan was first presented and first seen during the
Venice Film Festival.
4. This screen shot ‘Official Selection Toronto Film
Festival 2010’ shows the audience that Black Swan,
was screened there. Toronto Film Festival is a
leading public film festival in the world which screens
more than 300 films from 60+ countries every
September.
Darren Aronofsky is the director of the film Black
Swan, this gives the audience an insight of who
directed and put the film together.
5. The Wrestler and Requiem For A Dream are two
films which were also directed by Darren
Aronofsky; the director of Black Swan.
Natalie Portman is one of the main actors in the
film. This screenshot tells the audience watching
the trailer that Natalie Portman is a academy
award nominee.
6. Vincent Cassel and Mila Kunis are the two
other main characters which star in the film.
Both characters are given a slide each to
highlight the importance of them. All the
credits used in the movie are in the same
text positioning with the same background.
7. In the last few scenes of the credits, the title of
the film is brought up. Putting it towards the end
of the trailer means it will stick in the viewers
mind more then having it at the start.

the production of the film. It also gives the
viewer all the actors which are involved in the

out with the movie, this includes music
supervisors, editor of the whole film, production
designer, director of photographer and the
producers.
The last few scenes give the viewers a insight
of who wrote the film and the director once
again. The production company which released
it is also found towards the bottom, with their
logos on either side.

which they can visit which will give them extra
information on the new film being released
