Intensive four hour program with one group of school students who firstly visit an exhibition, participate in an accompanying
workshop, and hear about varying study and career pathways connected to that exhibition.

Career and Study Pathways panel discussions by early career industry professionals working within the following sectors:
Visual Art, Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion, Industrial Design, Landscape Architecture, and Interactive and Visual Design.
This program is a collaboration with QUT Creative Industries Faculty.
27. 4. IN SCHOOLS | ARTWORK IN A BOX
Artwork in a box brings artworks and activities directly to schools for a unique in-classroom art experience. Selected artworks
travel in a designated crate with the workshop facilitator where students role-play various occupations within the industry (such
as an art handler, an artist and a curator) as well as discuss, analyse, and learn about the artwork and artist before participating
in a making activity.
28. 5. ONLINE | ART/WORK
ART/WORK online series, captures a number of individuals working within varying roles in the Visual Art Sector, following the
personal narrative of their journeys. We are looking at revisiting this series with a ‘Where are they now’, mapping once again
their journeys from when we last meet them in 2013.

We are looking for 15 young people (Year 10 to 12, and first year out of
school) who are interested in working or studying in the visual arts industry.
Is this you?
Join the Saturday Club, a 7-week program running on Saturdays from 23
February to 6 April 2019, 10am to 2pm at Caboolture Hub 4 Hasking Street,
Caboolture.
During the Saturday Club you will make art, look at art, talk about art, learn
about art-jobs, and work on your very own exhibition launching as part of
National Youth Week. Who will you be – the curator, the artist, the conserva-
tor, the installer, the writer, the tour guide, events, public programs and
much more.
