2. Figure 1 describes the conceptual framework of the study wherein the input is
consisting of the following: Age, Sex, Educational attainment, Position (work), Monthly
income, Family history in this disease, and Length of having the illness, it also includes
the social support scale that end stage renal disease patient had.
On the other side, the process being used is through questionnaire, descriptive-
survey and statistical treatment such as percentage, mean and tallied. The output is the
Self-care ability of Hemodialysis patients with end stage renal disease.
The researchers want to find out the Self-care ability of Hemodialysis patients
with ESRD at Ospital ng Sampaloc prior to the initiation of the treatment; A basis for
formulation of teaching plan. The table shows how the researchers researched, surveyed
and solved their thesis statement.

3. STATISTICAL TREATMENT OF DATA
The researchers tallied and tabulated the data manually.
Percentage. This was utilized in reporting the profile of the respondents
specifically on age and gender.
Weighted Mean. To answer questions number 2 a and 2 b, weighted mean was
used. Below is the scale that was used.
