4. What have you learned from your audience feedback? To gain my audience feedback I decided to set up focus groups to watch my trailer and then answer the questions from a questionnaire I had created. This would able me to get a mixture of both detailed qualitative answers and Quantitative data To make sure I received Quantitative and Qualitative data my Questionnaire included both open and closed question. I also allowed the group to speak out and say anything they liked/disliked about my trailer to get a more detailed answer and opinion, just like an interview would.

13. What have you learned from your audience feedback? “ i would of had quick paced shots but love it...it follows all the conventions (hope this helps !) xx” “ This is actually one of the best trailers I've ever seen :D lol to Katie's intro is legendary :D Ellie’s intro awwwww and sam’s intro with Chris walking by just made laugh :P very good trailer could be a hit :) xx” “ Good Trailer :) Love the seven nation army song in it, classic!!! Couple of small things Liam only talks to Ellie, and also why does the narration say the people's real name.” “ nice trailer, quality could do with a bit of an up (i.e. Dan's voice over sounds a bit roomy) post production stuff mainly, otherwise awesome. you also conveyed humour well, loving the bit with Chris and the “gothy kids” “ Great trailer :D Looks good, you can tell it's target audience is aimed at teenagers. The setting of the school and then the park shows the whole teenage life. Music tied in well with the scenes, you could tell what was going to happen by the type of music. Other than that small analysis i don't know what to write :s But it's a great trailer, entertaining and I'd probably watch it if it was an actual t.v show. Great job XD”
14. What have you learned from your audience feedback? Evaluation of feedback The feedback I received from the questionnaires, focus groups and the various internet sites such as YouTube and Facebook, enabled me to reflect on my project and the scenes/effects that were seen as less realistic. Therefore, allowing me to improve my work and create the most professional piece of work possible. However, although I did receive some very good feedback, they were completed by very similar age groups and therefore doesn’t give me a diverse range of answers. As well as this, there was some problems with my questionnaire as the question “Would you buy this for a younger sibling” created some confusion as to how young I meant. Next time, I would therefore do a pilot questionnaire just to check that my questions are asking for the right thing, I would also ask a larger sample of people.
15. What have you learned from your audience feedback? Audience feedback is essential for the success of a project, as it enables you to see mistakes you may not have noticed as well as to see how your target audience responds to your piece of media. This is very important as you would want to attract your target audience and feedback ensures you are following the conventions and attending to your audiences interests and expectations. For example; with my own trailer the majority of my target audience thought that the when the character Josh first appeared he didn’t seem confident enough. This audience feedback gave me time to re-shoot this particular scene and make it look more realistic and show Josh’s character more effectively.
