This document provides an overview of Web 2.0 tools for educational purposes, including blogs, wikis, and photo sharing applications. It discusses the definitions and differences between blogs and wikis. Examples of popular blogging and wiki platforms are provided, as well as tips for using these tools in the classroom. Specific applications mentioned include Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket, and Aviary for photo editing and sharing. The document also briefly introduces the Edmodo educational networking platform.

What is a wiki? wiki-wiki - Hawaiian for quick (Richardson, 59). “A wiki is a collaborative Webspace where anyone can add content and anyone can edit content that has already been published” (Richardson, 8).
