Some years ago I met Christopher Avery (PhD, http://christopheravery.com/) on Agile conference and listened to one of his talks about the Responsibility Process. Through thousands of years human brain have been trained to avoid responsibility, we have build an subconscious and automatic process to guard us against it. It´s always somebody else´s fault, right? It´s the circumstances :), not us, right? In this talk, I´ll try to present The Responsibility Process (TM) itself as well as my personal experiences about its practical usage. I´ll show you a way to become more responsible!

Prisoner's Dilemma is a paradox in decision analysis in which two individuals acting in their own best interest pursue a course of action that does not result in the ideal outcome. The typical prisoner's dilemma is set up in such a way that both parties choose to protect themselves at the expense of the other participant. As a result of following a purely logical thought process to help oneself, both participants find themselves in a worse state than if they had cooperated with each other in the decision-making process. In this session, we will be looking at The Prisoner's Dilemma and how it affects our decision making, group and team dynamics, business decisions. We'll look at real world case studies and nature with a goal of understanding this dilemma better.

People are the most important part of any system of Web Governance. Hire good people and they will generally find clever and innovative ways to get maximum bang for your buck. However, Roles and Responsibilities have not kept pace with changes in online activity. This has led to dangerous gaps in operations, as well as tension among staff due to competing claims over “who does what”. In this presentation, we explore how to restore ‘industrial peace’ by delivering the clear job descriptions your people need.

We hear you! In our recent MUS Wellness survey, 70% of respondents said that “Lack of Time” was an obstacle to health goals. Well, it looks like we should focus on time-management strategies, and ways to include health into your already busy schedule. That’s what this workshop is about. Trust us, you deserve it.
