Assignment 2
Write an overview and analysis of one of the following:
1. A case study presented in Chapter 5 of The Power of Real-Time Social Media Marketing
2. A case study presented in the Chapter titled “Social Media Marketing Case Studies:
Regular Folks, Great Stories” in The Zen of Social Media Marketing: An Easier Way to
Build Credibility, Generate Buzz, and Increase Revenue, 2nd Edition
3. A social media related article, video, news story or event of your own selection.
Consider how your product, service or organization might – or might not – benefit from the
strategies and tactics explained in your source.
For this assignment, here is the process.
Step 1 - Write your paper and bring it to the next class on Wed, July 9th. Please do not write
more than 1 page.
Step 2 - In the next class on July 9th, you will work with a partner who will give you feedback
and suggestions and a grade using a 5 point scale (image below).
Step 3 - You can then revise you paper and post it to Blackboard by the next Sunday, which is
going to be Sunday July 13th for this assignment. Liz review the papers with grades given in
class, and may revise the grade. The goal is to learn more by getting feedback from a
classmate and the instructor. We want everyone to do great, and help each other.
