Kannan were residing
at Padianallur
Chennai have been
committing the crime
of stealing gold jewels
particularly from the
aged ladies diverting
their attention by
creating them fear of
criminals loitering in
the near by places,
make them to remove
their gold jewels and
pack them in a paper
and put it in her bag,
while handing over
the same to the lady
he will divert her
attention and change
the cover and escaped
with the booties in his
auto rickshaw.
On 17.08.2015 the
same criminals
managed to get away
with 15 sovereign of
jewels from a elderly
lady Jayalakshmi
for which a case was
registered. A special
team with the head
MGR Nagar Police
Station crime inspector
Tr.Siddarth was
formed. The special
team while checking
the footages of CCTV
cameras installed
by the Ashok Nagar
Police Station near
that spot the auto
rickshaw used by the
criminals was found.
Immediately assiduous
and commendable
efforts were made by
the special team all the
accused were secured.
In pursuance of their
confession gold jewells
about 100 sovereigns
relating to 30 cases
have been recovered.
More than 50
important areas in
West Mambalam in
now under live watch in
a 52 inches TV Monitor
by using the latest high
quality optical fiber
monitoring in security
and surveillance
systems installed in
R3 Ashok Nagar Police
Station which helped to
nab the culprits.
The special team
police personals were
appreciated by the
Commissioner of
Police.

training in sports they also
learn to come in group,
wait for their turn, be in

new people. This year our
students participated in
three events from two of
last year. Even the most
severely challenged of
the physically disabled
students also had their
share of games and fun.
It was a day of enjoyment,
healthy competition and
all round happiness. This
was a beautiful journey

PURUSHA SUKTA PARAYANAM
Vedas form the foundation
of our Hindu culture and
tradition. There are several
sacred hymns in the vedas,
termed Suktas in general,
that provide us a means
of offering our prayers to
Almighty. Of these, Purusha
Suktam is the most popular
and potent, as it finds
mention in all the four
Vedas as well as in puranas
and Mahabharata. Purusha
suktam is a poetic description
of the Parama Purusha,
Sriman Narayana, and the
origin of the entire creation
from the undifferentiated
cosmic being. He is poetically
depicted as a being with
thousand heads, eyes
and legs, enveloping the
earth from all sides and
transcending it by ten fingers
length - or transcending in all
10 directions.The chanting
of this Suktam, performing
Homa with this mantra, and
listening to and meditating
on it is believed to bestow on
the devotees not only material
well being but also the grace
of Bhagavan Narayana.

8. 35-year-old Indupalli
Rajeshwari from
Andhra Pradesh was
allegedly assaulted by
her husband with a
knife, resulting in the
amputation of her left
hand from the wrist.
She was brought in
to the Department
of Plastic Surgery at
Stanley Government
Medical College where
she underwent surgery
to reattach her hand.
This difficult surgery
was performed by
Dr. Jeyakumar a
resident of NO 3 ,
NEHRU AVENUE,
B H A R A D H I D A S A N
COLONY , K.K.Nagar,
who is a plastic
surgeon in Stanley.
The surgery took 6
hours of painstakingly
reconnecting nerves,
blood vessels
and bones.. Now
fortunately since her
amputated hand was
brought well preserved
and although ideal
time to bring it is less
than 6 hours, this
surgery worked for
her even though done
after 12-15 hours. The
patient was brought
in to surgery almost a
day after her hand had
been cut off. Since
the hand had been
properly preserved in
ice when it was brought
in, we were able to
re-attach it, and she
has regained finger
movement after a
week of post-operative
care,” P. Jeyakumar,
plastic surgeon, told
us. When people are
bringing amputated
body parts to be re-
attached, it is critical
that they carefully
preserve them in a
plastic bag that is
placed in ice.
“If it is stored properly,
it is possible to re-
attach these parts
even after a little
delay,” Dr.Jeyakumar
added. Dr.Jeyakumar
has an orthopedic
degree along with
plastic surgery degree
which he did from the
same stanley medical
college.
