SOP for >50 markets handled directly by Distributors, with
a central business team in the headquarter. Distributors
are normally great sales people, good in supply chain
management, less good as forecasters. As a consequence

• Handle the forecast via very complex .xls spreadsheets: macros+ historical data for shipments and inventory by
sku’s - 15MB
• Poor volume by sku forecast based on limited market intelligence data mainly coming from business people

Distributors are normally great sales people, good in supply chain management, less good as forecasters.
