5. • Solution 1: buy energy –
efficient appliances- they
reduce running cost and save
money on your power bill. It
uses less energy while enjoying
all the product features. it
reduces greenhouse gases
emission over the life of your
appliance.

recycled items- find new uses
for existing products or
materials. Reduce the use of
raw materials in
manufacturing. We will help
create employment
opportunities in our local
community. Send or sell our
unwanted item to someone

water. We can use it to
water the gardens during

9. • Water Tank: Save water and money
• Solar panels: save energy because the sun
will be the energy source
• Big glass windows: To let the sun in to
light up the room so the lights are not on
and using electricity
• Eco-friendly lights and use them efficiently
• Organic vege/fruit garden to organically
grow fruit and veg for the community to
share
• Sun study to find out where the windows
should go and what direction to place the
rooms to get effective sunlight
